Not good for Muzzin owners.
bmackIf this is already out there, I apologize. Haven't been on Twitter. In any case, LAK and Christian Ehrhoff have agreed to terms on 1-yr deal
1.5M/1 year
Not good for Muzzin owners.

Good for the Kings, Voynov lost hurted them alot on the #3 D spot. Now with Ehrhoff Green will down grade. Solide top4 squad: Doughty-Muzzin-Ehroff-Martinez
The Pens denfense looks like an AHL team
I'm just speculating, maybe LA already knows what we don't, Voynov can't come back to the NHL?
(I don't think Ehrhoff's arrival hurts Muzzin's value)
Good, cheap signing for the Kings. Hard to believe he couldn't get more from others.

I'd agree, this signing most likely signals Voynov's time being over (and good riddance). CE on a 1.5M deal is great value, don't see any fantasy relevance for him anymore but if he stays healthy it's a great real-life signing for LA - especially having moved out Miller.
12-man salary cap roto keeper league, 25 roster spots & 8 farm (12 F, 6D, 2G active - max 82GP/spot) - 83M cap, real AAV - G/A/P/PPP/SOGs/Hits/PIM W/GAA/SO

G: Miller, Howard, Mrazek
Farm: Petan, Hellebuyck, Goldobin, Werenski, Beauvillier, DeBrusk, Rychel, Kyle Connor
Great signing for LA. Even if Ehrhoff might not be a great fantasy option at this point, there's still plenty of real life value.

Ehrhoff for $1.5m is absurdly good value for the Kings. I can't believe the Penguins weren't interested in retaining his services for less than 2m. He would really help them right now.

Muzzin will be fine. This is the Kings grabbing someone because the price was right and maybe they hit lightning in a bottle. At worst, they keep him off another team and add veteran depth for the Spring when injuries tend to mount. Even if - and it's a big if - Ehrhoff plays 75 games, he won't get more than 30 points.
Some astute observations in this thread.
Here's the fantasy take:

I wouldnt be surprised if Ehrhoff ends up being the 6th best dman on LA this year.
he only got 14 points on the pens...granted he was injured but still was only on a 23 point pace. doughty and muzzin will be unaffected. he'll probably help martinez a bit, the only ones i see this as a negative for is the fringe guys like mcbain, maybe mcnabb too since he probably loses pp time
Ehrhoff is very much a secondary contributor at this point in his career. His contract should solidify that.
