Keep Jones....I would decline this offer....D-men take longer to reach their full potential....stay patient...you'll be rewarded....
I've received interest in Seth Jones. The current trade offer is Dumba + Pulock for my Seth Jones.
As you can see, the league is weighted to the multicats and I have no D-man prospects.
Dumba seems to have multi-cat upside and Pulock has a nice opportunity but I don't want to sell Jones short. Lastly, there are a ton of active spots so depth matters a bit.
My question: Is Seth Jones going to be exponentially better than Dumba? And if so, does Pulock cover the gap?
Thanks for the help!

If you look at the pure upside, the Pulock + Dumba side looks very appealing. They could easily both become better fantasy players than Jones.
And now for the big BUT. A 20 year old defender who has already played two full seasons in the NHL is something very rare. Jones is a very special player, it will take him a while to reach the 40 points and more, but he's a sure NHL player and therefore i wouldn't move him in this deal.
I would also decline. Looking at your team, it seems very decent. So I'd rather have the sure thing in Jones, as opposed to worrying about increasing your prospect pool.
This is only the type of move I'd make if your team was really, really, really bad. And even then, I'd probably be asking for a pick in addition to the two prospects.
I think it's a very fair offer for Jones and it would tempt me too. Both Pulock and Dumba have excellent upsides themselves.
I'd go back and see if he's willing to add something to the offer, maybe a pick or something. It's that close that if he was willing to add a piece, I'd certainly do it.
