Is there a place where I can download last years stats and dump them into excel?

I use Yahoo's regular hockey stats because you can get every skater on one page.
    Copy/pastes into excel pretty well.

I do it yearly for my own Excel crunching.

Assuming that has all the categories you need (it would for WHL) then it might work for you.

Fantrax allows you to download CSV's of all players stats depending on what your league settings are.

They are available from multiple years too.

I have a dummy league I created just to modify league settings/stats and download the CSV's for what I need.

I've done the Yahoo way and agree, it works. Another idea is whether you are signed up to FantasyHockeyGeek, you can export the rankings (based on your settings) into Excel.

I use CBS to download the stats I need (there's an export to excel feature), but the name is a bit annoying (i.e. - John Tavares / C / NYI). You can clean that up using cntl+f (replace) and replacing with nothing, but it takes time. So I use the clean names from the previous year and use a vlookup formula to put the stat next to the right name.

As for age, I have a seperate spreadsheet with all the players year of birth, then use a formula to give me his age.
