Rizzo trade

Another offer I'm thinking of doing is his Rizzo and Jose Fernandez for my Brantley, Sano, and Richards.

Richards is ranked quite a bit higher than Jfern, but Jfern is the better own no?

Sano is a good player for Dynasty, I don’t think he’ll be anything spectacular this yr. Brantley I think is showing us who he actually is (which sucks cause I own him). He’ll be owned in leagues, but isn’t an amazing guy. He’s not stealing like he was last yr, and he more than likely wont hit the 20HR mark this yr. Richards is a good pitcher, but he’s not elite.

JFern was ranked so low because he would only be playing in half the season this yr. He’s one of the top (if not the top) pitcher in the game, and has shown pretty much no side effects of TJ surgery. In a league (1yr, keeper, or dynasty) JFern will be top 3 pitcher from here on out. You can try Richards for Jfern, but it could very well just insult the GM.

Hey what are your thoughts on Carlos Correa or Sano?
I'm thinking of offering up sano for Correa to solidify my SS position for next year. Is he the future #1 fantasy SS?
He rejected for Franco so not sure he'll do it but he does already have 3 SS....

I have Correa and on my team he is almost untradeable. Since he has joined the league, he has been the best SS, and he’s been a top 40 player in the league, and top 5 in a keeper league I’d say. He actually stole bases, he’d be so high up the rankings it would be ridiculous.

Not sure if that is true or not but I know that he has had long cold streaks like 0 SB in the last 16 atleast and 1HR.

But I guess I'll go ahead and offer it. Sano is pretty sweet too.

I meant to say IF he stole bases. The only SS I would trade Correa for right now is Tulo if I was going for the win this yr. Correa’s OPS is still over 0.800 and has only gone below 0.800 twice in his short career and they were both early in the season.

In the same time as his 1HR, he’s had like 8RBI’s in his last 10games.

I'm pretty sure this owner would reject Felix and Scherzer along with Sano for him. He's just one of those owners...actually I take that back, he'll let it sit on the board for 2 weeks and then all of a sudden reject it. He's made 3 trades across 3 sports in about 6 years.

Anyway, I'll have some tough decisions to make come keeper time. I'm already regretting my Teehran keep...should have combined him with Polanco in a trade to get someone else. For next year my 10 keeps are as follows: Altuve,Donaldson,McCutchen,Stanton,Felix,Scherzer and then a decision of who to trade to upgrade or keep with Brantley,Sano,Cueto,Samardjica,Lynn,Hanley,RusselM artin,Richards,Jungmann,Teehran,Familia

Tempted to pickup tyler glasnow soon.

And I can’t decide between Jungmann, Lynn, or Richards. Martin could be a solid keep because he is one of, if not the, best catcher right now, but he’s a catcher. It’s very easy to get a top 5 catcher, it’s such a volatile position.

I was leaning towards not keeping Brantley anymore or trading him due to his lack of power and SB really...
Sano, I'm pretty sure I can find a home for him. My strongest interests are Correa (he'd probably reject Felix for him now) Rizzo, he wanted Donaldson, Brantley and richards for Rizzo, Yellich and Boegartz. No thanks.
and then my back up is Jose Abreu....likely could get him for samard, sano and richards or something.

With McHutch and Stanton, you need a balance I would say. Power won’t be an issue with your keepers, it would be average and Strikeouts if that’s a category. Keeping 3pitchers and 3OF isn’t something I like doing; I’m a fan of spreading my keepers out.

I’m keeping 1 first baseman, 1 second, 1 third, 1 SS, 1 OF and 2pitchers (or a second OF instead of a 2^nd). But the players are fine, Sano is playing himself out of talks for me, he may be a good player for a rebuilding team

I've had a few but I'm not sure I follow what you are saying here. 10 keepers. So I will have 2B, 3B, OF1, OF2, SP1Felix, SP2Scherz, SP3Cueto...
Need 3 keeps....Sano and Brantley both aren't for sure keepers anymore. 1B is very deep and always nice fill in's so I don't feel desperate to fill it but SS would be nice if I could land Correa but I will not. C...Russell Martin I don't think is worth a keeper spot and I never have. Samardjica is driving me bonkers this year. I for sure have enough depth that I could make a huge off season trade of Richards, samardjica and sano for a Rizzo or Abreu I think. Wish there was a stud SS out there...
are you saying I should keep 6 bats and 4 arms to spread things out? or 5 and 5?
