Help me with my keepers

Hi,

I don't like doing this because most of the other GM read this forum. My idea is fairly set also , but I'd like to hear some opinion on this.

12 teams. Keep 17 Start 3C,3LW,3RW,6D,2G (P=1, PPP = 0,4, SHP =0.6 +/- = 0.32, PIM = 0.08 Hits= 0.08, Blk = 0.2, SOG =0.015, W =2, SO = 3, GA = -0.64, SV = 0.07, SHL/OTL = 0.8, DPts = 0.15)

C: Kopitar,Sedin,Thornton,Koivu
LW: Benn,Pacioretty,Marleau
RW: Kessel,Voracek,Little,Hossa
D: Subban,Letang,Burns,J.Schultz,Daley,Martinez
G: Price,Quick,Scrivens

Basically, my keepers are set. I should be keeping Scrivens because goalie are hot commodity in this league. I'm debating between Hossa-Scrivens-Koivu-Schultz-Daley-Martinez for my last two keeper.

I had plans of moving Schultz for a pick or prospect, but with McDavid in Edmonton I think Schultz gain some solid value. He's the only right-handed D with offensive skills in Edmonton. Todd McLellan has coached some very good PP over the years in SJ, and they always had a RHD managing that PP (Boyle,Burns or Pavelski).

With hits and blocked shots in the mix I like Daley over Schultz.

I think Scrivens is the right call, too.

In 12 team league I have to think there will be better depth options out there to pick up other than Scrivens?
I would not keep him. Talbot will be the horse, and let's face it EDM still has defensive deficiences.
I'm thinking you can find a better 3rd goalie somewhere.

I agree with Shake's breakdown. Talbot is going to be given every chance to be the #1. Schultz or Daley have to be more valuable than a average backup goalie like Scrivens.

I agree with the list, but would keep Little instead of Koivu

I'd keep Little as well and will go against the grain and suggest you move Daley. Partly because I don't believe he'll put up those numbers again but mostly because of your format.

12 teams x 6 D means only 72 Dmen are being used. That's the top pairing + 12 d from each team. Lots of solid guys still available. (And although D get a bonus in your league, it's pretty negligible.)

Up front, you're 9 teams x 9 F so 81 guys are used - nearly the top 3 lines for each team. I think it'll be harder to find a replacement F to produce than a D.
