Just sort of curious. I have the 3rd overall and 8th overall this year for a draft that is primarily 2015 draftees (+ the odd NCAA or Euro FA... i.e. Panarin) for a roto multicat league.
Am pretty stoked to have my pick of Marner/Strome/Hanifin, and to get another player from the Provorov/Rantanen/Barzal/Zacha/Panarin group. Given that I may not get picks this high again for several years, this will be a fun draft for me no matter what happens.
BUT... I'm curious what would happen if I offered both those picks to the team at 2nd overall. Would any of you consider accepting that?

Definitely go for it. I was able to trade Kuznetsov, the 5th prospect pick and the 8th redraft pick [redraft being all NHL UFA's or potential UFA's that weren't signed before June 20th] for the 2nd prospect pick just yesterday. So it is possible.

Unless you have been drafting for a long time with an excellent track record AND you are really sure about the other guys you will end up with, I think you have to want Eichel instead. I doubt the other guy takes the offer but sure, go ahead and offer.

Ultra, make the offer. The worst that could happen is, "NO." If they accept, take the deal and sleep well knowing you're getting a future superstar and franchise talent.
