I had Larkin after the top 10-12 ranked guys for 2015 (of which Rantanen was one) so I'll stick with Rantanen.

I was struck with this similar situation and took Larkin. I'm a big Rantanen guy and had been planning on taking him with my pick since December but when I saw Larkin it was no contest. That being said, Larkin may continue to slip if people are forgetting about 2014 picks. In my draft, the guy after me was taking whichever of the two slipped so I had no shot with a later pick. Happy with Larkin though, no regrets.

I don't think there's necessarily a wrong choice. After the top picks, we're basically just hoping to find that guy who continues to trend upwards into a contributing NHLer, and that is what Larkin has done. Rantanen looks like a safe bet to be an NHL winger too.Originally Posted by metaldude26

I'm rather high on both of these guys and am hoping to land one in my upcoming draft also. If I had to pick one I'd lean towards Larkin, but I would be happy with Rantanen.
