What you guys think about this offer?

    My Hedman (5.75M)

    For

His Trouba (0.925M) and Dubnyk(5M) or M. Jones (RFA)

Thoughts for the league in sig?

No way. You have Lundy, Schenider, Vas, Allen. Why would you move a stud defenseman for yet another goalie? If anything I would look to move Lundy or Allen for a skater and roll with Schneider and Vas.

This is what I was thinking also.

Its not a bad offer but I still prefer Hedman here.

Im a big fan of Trouba but he might get stuck with a more defensive role (a la Seabrook) as long as Myers is lighting it up. I do think he has one of the highest upsides of any dmen but Hedman is already up there and is just starting to take off himself.

And with Allen and Vasi in the system I don't think Dubnyk or Jones are needed.

Big no for me as well. You need one stud defenceman and solid goaltending, which you've already got. This deal would make your goaltending more solid, unnecessarily, and weaken your defence a ton.

I say no for three reasons.

    1. I'm not a big fan of Dubnyk or Jones.

    2. Hedman is on the rise, his cap hit will look like a steal for the next two years. If he can stay healthy he can hit 50 points. Pure gold in a salary cap league.

    3. I really like Trouba, but he's years away from really being productive. By that time he will not be so cheap anymore. His contract just runs one more year.

You have no need for a goalie and at best Trouba matches Hedman's production. Easy decline.

Seeing the Hedman figure at $5.75m means this is actual salary.
Hedman also gives you 2016-2017 at $4.25m.

I'd keep him for those two real solid years of performance at a nice number.

Do you need to clear Lundqvist and his $10M? The offer is fair enough but why do you need more goaltending?

Yeah, I actually think 10M for Lundy is a load of $$ spent on 1 player and I'm wondering if he will produce enough for his salary in my league....since Allen and Vasilievsky aren't sure starters, I was looking for a cheaper option in G....

As for Hedman, I don't want to trade him....I'm trying to check the options....right now I'm questioning Parise with his 9M and Staal is out too but that alone won't make it to get to 71.4M....
