Ken Appleby. 2nd time through the NHL draft. Nothing but great numbers in the OHL, even a franchise record this year, All-Star Game appearance, and the Outstanding Goaltender award in the Memorial Cup. 6'4", 205, 20 years old. Didn't even see him in any of the draft rankings lists. I'm no expert by any means but I don't really get this.

Can't recall off the top of my head if Boston ever had a Russian either on the NHL team or in the draft. Chiarelli came from Ottawa who was always burned by Russians

I just noticed that Matt Murphy got passed over, again.
Murphy was a big part of the Mooseheads winning the Memorial Cup a couple years ago and was traded along with Fucale this year to Quebec to play in the Mem Cup again. He was one of their better defensemen as well.
I am surprised he got passed over again.

Darren Raddysh wasn't drafted again, i'm not watching OHL hockey a lot, but having most points on the Errie Otter's team should a least be worth a late round pick. Am i missing something with him ?
