I've been away from Canada a long time.... isn't radio free? Paying for radio seems crazy to me. Can't you just bluetooth from your phone to get any radio station you want and/or use your own music collection? Serious question, not trying to be a dick.

Our little one has some health complications and certain types of channels offered sooth him a bit when driving (which my wife does a lot to/from hospitals/appointments). I bought it for them as a birthday gift for the year. And we live in a more rural area with fewer stations and 50% of them are french out of Montreal. It doesn't blow our budget and if it helps a little bit, then I'm all for it. I was just trying to see if I too could swing a good deal. Got lots of tunes on my ipod but it becomes repetitive after a while. And I HATE morning shows and commercials. Collectively my wife and put on ~80,000 km per year - we're in the cars a lot. I've had XM in the past and enjoyed it as a luxury but as long as it didn't break the bank.

When people are having an argument about lets say "SPORTS IN GENERAL" and say - Well I like player X over player Y and I'm a huge fan of player Y .

As if that really MEANS anything anyhow. I wouldn't say I'm an expert in this "SPORT" i'm referring to, I "MAY" or "MAY NOT" be talking about a certain sport that we discuss on a regular basis and know my role and when to shut my yap because there are tonnes of people and on this forum in general that know more about this "SPORT" than I do such as the intricacies of the game and how it's played and that it's not ALL about the points in this particular sport. Just find it funny when people discuss "THIS SPORT" that they use that narrative.

Speaking of radios; Today's "Country" music bugs the hell out of me. That shit on the radio isn't country music, it's nothing more than pop music. They have pop radio stations for a reason. If you want to be a pop band then go there and give me back my damn country music. I want my steel guitars and twin fiddles, I want my dog to run away, I want my truck to break down. I want all that crap, I don't want to hear bubble gum in my ears.

F$^@#% rabbits keep eating my tomatoes! And my main complaint is that they only take a couple bites and leave the rest. If they ate 3/4 of it I might be a little more tolerant. The dogs next store got one over the weekend and it brought a smile to my face. They are kinda cute though.

I hate the toilet stalls at my work where the doors swing in. I always have to back up when I leave in order to open the door and end up brushing against the toilet.

Of course. Every public bathroom I've been in has the door opening inward. I've been to 3 hospitals in the last month and not one bathroom had a door you can push open. Bathrooms at the mall. Bathrooms at the casino. Bathrooms at restaurants. Coffee shops. So yeah, how would you get out?

But how would you get out?

Put the handle on the outside of the door so I have to pull the door to get in, and push it to get out. I hate washing my hands in a restroom and looking at the handle, thinking about whether the last clown didn't bother to wash his hands or not. If it's a push door to get out, it eliminates the issue.

I am not a germ-a-phob by any means, but something just bother me. That's definitely one of them.
