It was a line of ''toys'' designed to calm autism and ADD symptoms that were soft launched in 2016. Turns out, it created more ADD then it ''cured'' IMO
Consider it the latest fad; it should be done by mid-summer

They look like mopeds but run off of a battery. Their top speed is 32 KPH. They have between a 48-72 volt battery pack and can travel up to 40 kilometers on a charge. Here are some examples:

I see them on sidewalks all the time in Vaughan, which is at the top of Toronto. They are just a nuisance.

Come to Hamilton and you’ll see them everywhere. It’s either students at Mac (and it’s typically Asian/oriental ethnicity) or it’s 50-70yr olds and from what I’m told it’s people who get DUI’s, can’t afford insurance so they get these things. I’ve seen a guy rig up a trailer on his so he can go scrap hunting in East End Hamilton.
When used correctly, they are a ton of fun. I rented one for a day in Vietnam and it was great because everyone knows what to do and you stick to the roads and they’re gas so you fly. Here, people who use them treat them like they’re bicycles and I freaking hate that. Oh red light, let me hop onto the sidewalk. Oh I’m going to take a whole lane and go 40km/h in a 60.

Seems like a pretty poor band-aid solution, but I guess that's the best they can do...

I have nothing against people who are sensitive to certain products, chemicals or even scents but when it's 30+ degrees and you wear a tank top in a packed subway car and you grab the handle in front of me, with your undeodorized arm pit inches from my nose, you can bet your shinny dollar that I'm going to say something...
