ANOTHER thing that grinds my gears is the people who constantly tell you when they're going to work OR the gym .... i feel like im going to work with them lol

those glory hogs who always have to brag about every little accomplishment they make, what ever happened to the old "CANUCKS VS CANADIENS GAME TONIGHT. GO HABS! CAREY PRICE FTW!" ..... hahahahha

The “transformation” body pictures on Instagram now bug me. Cool, you went from being unhealthy skinny to ripped. I saw one today where a girl went from ripped to…um, not skinny with a big blurb about how she’s mentally healthy now and blah blah blah. Is it really mentally healthy if you have to get the validation of others? I’m all for people getting healthy, but do you really need that pat on the back from people online?

Something that bugged me this weekend made me feel older than I really am. I turned 26 and went to Niagara Falls with some friends (guy on our hockey team turns 22 as well so it was a joint thing) and all I wanted to do was eat some food and play Sic Bo (great Asian gambling game). Didn’t care what else we did. At like 9pm, I was like, “when we going to the casino?” and all the younger ppl said we’ll go after the club at like 230am. UMMM NO THANKYOU. The only thing I want at 230am is maybe leftover food and my bed. So I left for an hr to play my game still sober enough to be smart, but buzzed enough to be confident. Won $300, went back to the hotel room where everyone was and they weren’t even ready to go to this club. And it was like 1030pm. I shouldn’t feel old at 26yrs old.

There have been many of these put in over the last decade in my area. No one EVER catches on, no matter how many signs, flyers, or PSAs go out. They are just large poorly functioning stop sign intersection equivalents now, except some people also stop while in the circle.

I?ve noticed a generation gap in my area of southern Ontario when it comes to round-abouts. My niece just got her G1 and I take her out sometimes when her dad is working. She knows exactly what to do because she was trained properly by a driving instructor. I have just kind of guessed my way through it and I?m a confident driver, so anyone who is uneasy with driving, or in their own little world when driving wouldn?t go through them properly.

Also, these ones are nothing. Any of them overseas are way more intense, and I got seriously stressed when I somehow got caught in the very middle lane of a 5 lane round-about.

mispronunciation of players names at a draft. i know its a trivial thing but c mon man

    "RICKARD REICHEL"
    "MITCH MARE-IN-HER"

Or those people who criticize or SNICKER at your pick. I had one guy give me a weird look when I picked David Pastrnak once, "WHO THE HELL IS DAVID PASTRNAK....." this was a year ago. "Oh wow who does he play for?"

It’s stuff like this that annoys me with how the drivers licence laws are.

Driving has to be the most popular complaint. Everyone has their faults though, except me of course!

I just don't understand how a new driver develops bad habits so fast. I guess its just a personality thing. I mean the number of people that don't signal is astonishing. You don't pass if you don't signal so why stop now? Its an automatic reaction for me. Funny when some people put the wrong signal on. lol. Also, when did making U-turns in major intersections become legal? This is something thats becoming more and more common in the last 5 years or so. There are designated intersections where it is allowed, but these are new. HWY 7 in the GTA for example. Seems so dangerous otherwise.

Ok, so I know this isn’t an IRK, but this is traffic related.
    Let me paint the scenario.

4 lane road (2 each direction). I’m in a parking lot and looking to turn right onto the 2 lanes going right. I see a gap in the “slow lane”, but cars are in the “fast lane”. I pull out into the “slow lane”, and get hit from behind. The car that hit me was in the fast lane, but decided to change lanes without a signal, and hit me. Who’s at fault?

His fault in my book. Dumb move on their part. Inconsiderate and oblivious. You shouldn't change lanes if someone is looking to pull out of a parking lot/driveway.

See I would think so too, and I had an argument with my parents about this. They said it would be the car turning onto the street?s fault. Something about merging with traffic, but my argument was if I?m driving on a 4 lane road and drift from the fast lane to the slow lane and hit someone, it?s not the other guys fault it?s mine.

Their argument was the coast has to be clear I guess. I understand the good practice of that as it?s defensive driving, but I still think the same way you do.

It irks me when I go to another channel during a commercial and that channel also has a commercial. These networks need to be a little more 'surfer' friendly.

The fact that you can't turn right on a red light in Que. Makes no sense to me at all being from Ontario. Just sitting there at a red with the blinker on, with no one in sight and you can't move. Just idling.....

People who keep boxes of kleenex in the rear window ledge of their car. What activities are going on in that seat that you need 150+ Kleenex there?

People in mostly Asian built cars who drive not knowing their rear lights are off at night. Super dangerous. Spotted multiple car after car in Mtl last night with no lights on - one on the 401 around 11pm. All cars should have automatic lights on both front and rear that come on automatically. INSANE!!
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.

Driving from London, ON to MTL and back for the game on Wednesday, I found myself thinking the exact same things at certain points.
That and why Trucks think they can pass each other on a 2 lane Hwy when they are both capped at the same speed.

auto industry should also enforce that all rear turn signal lights be orange colored too .Its alot easier to see than red on red .
