Default Where Anderson will land ?

It look like the phone is ringing for Anderson in Ottawa. Murray says that 5-6 teams ask for him.

(sorry it's french ! Maybe someone could give an english reference ?)

So... where are the possible landing for Anderson and what will be he fantasy value there ? There is no doubt that Buffalo ask for him and it would be a terrible destination for the next 2-3 years... What else ?

Yeah, basically, four or five teams have called the Sens about Anderson, and Murray admits that he is willing to move either him or Lehner. However, Anderson seems to be getting more interest.

Here is who I think is calling: Buffalo, Edmonton, San Jose, Winnipeg and Dallas. Just my thoughts. Nothing to confirm any of them, of course.

San Jose could be a logical destination.. they have good player (like Marleau) they could give for Anderson. I think they will try to change some key player over there.

I say Edmonton. Just a hunch but he seems to go to a new team and play well. At least, early on.

    Could be good in Edmonton.

Don't think so. Ottawa needs to give new contracts to : Stone, Hoffman, Zibanejad, and Pageau.
Dealing Anderson would give them cap space. With young aspiring stars like they have, do they need Marleau?

Agree with that.. but that's why they will have to give a big contract to get Anderson...

Boy would it sure stir the pot if Winnipeg or Dallas were in the process of landing him.

Are the Sens really seriously considering moving Anderson and leave their goaltending in the hands of an unproven Lehner and career backup Hammond? Doesn't make sense to me.

I've said for a while that San Jose makes the most sense.

One major factor not mentioned often is Lehner's health. Last reported he was still dealing with concussion symptoms. I have a hard time seeing Ottawa deal any goalie until Lehner is cleared to play.

I think the Sens have a lot of confidence in Lehner, assuming he is over his concussions.

Hammond isn't even a career backup, he's a career AHLer and was starting to be exposed as such near the end of the season and into the playoffs. Moving Anderson is a terrible decision if that's what it come to.

Hammond is the backup and has proven his worth as such. Moving Anderson is a good long term move and moving Lehner is a good shorter term move

Ideally Anderson ends up landing at an airport.

Buffalo seems too young for a Anderson, I guess I could be wrong..

Winnipeg has too much going on in the goalie department to add another..

I could see Edmonton, Dallas, San Jose, or Calgary

I traded Anderson a few weeks ago for somewhat of a week return. Here's to hoping he goes to Buffalo. If he ends up in SJ, Im gonna have some trade remorse. I think he could be solid there, especially in Deboer's defensive system.
