Need help with my Pitchers

Odorizzi
Lackey
Carlos Martinez
Hammel
Quintana
Smyly (i need to drop)

Available:

Mike Fiers
JA Happ
CJ Wilson
Nathan Karns
Josh Collmenter
Colby Lewis

would you switch any of these available players with any from my current roster?
and who to pick up for Smyly?

What are the categories? I might be tempted to stream that spot if possible or use a high-strikeout reliever to protect your ratios instead of full-time rostering one of those guys.

I don't love any of those pitching options but if I had to pick one to replace Smyly it would probably be CJ

I like Karns, but he’s got a tough matchup for a guy who doesn’t get the ball past hitters too well against the Yankees. The typical guys like Syndergaard, Rodon, Bradley (off DL Sunday), the Marlins 2^nd closer (Cishek should have his closer role taken from him soon), Jim Johnson gets a lot of holds (11 saves+Holds this yr), I’m guessing are gone.

Jimmy Nelson plays CWS in his next matchup (Wednesday I think) so he’s got a nice matchup right there. I’d prolly stream until you can find one pitcher to stay with. Nelson would be a nice SP5 guy, but would only deploy depending on the matchup.

i was think about picking up AJ Ramos (potential closer for marlins) but he was snatched up already.. the only guy that you listed who's available in my league is Jim Johnson.. I have Fiers in tonight to hopefully get me some Ks, and will propbably grab Karns for tomorrow.. then i guess make my decision after those 2 started what to do with that spot next

If you wanted to be really sneaky, you can find Soriano and place him on an NA slot if you have it. Marlins have looked into him for a FA signing. But it’s pretty unlikely, and he wasn’t great even last yr.

Keep looking at Bleacher report on their fantasy archive section, they actually have solid writers for baseball.
