Which side wins, and why? MacK + Gibson vs. Johansen + Vasi?
I am wondering which side you guys would prefer
I currently own John Gibson and Nathan MacKinnon but i am thinking about an offer that would get me Andrei Vasilevskiy and Ryan Johansen.
Since i also have Freddy Andersen on my team, i am slightly leaning towards the Gibson side to ensure i have the Ducks starter, but still this offer has me thinking.
i might also be able to land jake allen.
Who of those 3 young goalies do you prefer.

This is the worst time to trade MacKinnon, you will regret it in a few years or even a few months.
Out of the three you mentioned i would target Allen. I think he has the best chances to become a starter soon. Gibson is splitting time with Andersen and Vasilevskiy is behind Bishop. Both seem a least two years away, the path for Allen is clear, he has a shot this summer.
Anyway no matter what you do, keep MacKinnon!

yeah, I agree this is a bad time to trade MacKinnon too. It's possible one of Gibson or Vas get a shot next year due to injury to the incumbent, but most likely not. I personally don't trust Bishop much but he's still got talent to run with the job for a while. Maybe revisit the trade at the halfway point next year to see how the value of the forwards will have changed since it's unlikely the tenders will see much change in value by that time.

I won't lie, I would have a hard time turning down that offer of Johansen and Vasilevskiy if that was offered to me. MacKinnon should turn out to be as good as Johansen already is at a young age. I don't think he end up being much better than RyJo and I prefer Vasilevskiy to Gibson long term.

Try Gibson for Vas. I love Vas and think he has the highest ceiling out of goalie prospects.
