How was everyone's experience with Rogers Gamecenter?

Did you guys feel it was worth every penny or was it a ripoff?

Love it after getting it "free" by paying a ton of money every month for their Share Everything plan.
It can be a little jumpy at times, and being in Winnipeg, almost every Jets game is blacked out. But other than that, I love it and I've been using it for years. The best part about it is that I can watch the games on my iPhone or laptop because I'm hardly ever in front of my TV.

Love it. And pro tip: You can share it. Myself and 3 friends split the cost 4 ways and we all use it, as it lets you have multiple streams at the same time.

And in BC, there are no blackouts. Nada. Never. I see you are in Edmonton, so not sure of the situation there, but I love it.

Do you all have to be Rogers customers to be able to share it?

Uses too much data for my liking. I have a share everything plan with Rogers with only 1G of data and it would burn it while watching 1 game. Then on WiFi I have 200G, but still not enough to start using the GCL.

The actual interface is great tho. I’ve never had an issue with it, or have anything I don’t like about it. If I was still a student I might have used it more watching a game at the library using their internet.

I just much rather use my big screen TV and watch the game in HD there.

If you watch a lot of hockey, it's worth every penny. If you watch a game or two a week, it's probably not worth it.

No you don't. We use one login. We also experimented and all 4 of us would stream games at the exact same time from different locations, and it has 0 issues. It worked perfect. Ends up being quite a ridiculous bargain if you split it 4 ways.

Gamecenter is great. And with google chrome you can cast it right to your tv.

    Anybody done GameCenter through Roku?
    I have a Roku3.
Went on the site tonight - says $132 for the year... that's not bad.

I'm debating... need hockey, we cut cable... gotta watch somehow.

    I declined the annual option.
I have paid for the monthly subscription of $24.99. You can cancel the monthly at anytime and just sign-up again as you want.
So if you have, say a busy December, you can cancel for a month if you want and then sign back up again on the monthly installment installment in January, etc.

Those of you that do sign-up be sure to understand there is an automatic renewal on your credit card.
I cancel that part of my subscription immediately upon sign up that way I can renew it when I am ready each season.

Would be so glad i would get that price. I had mine last year for 99,99. This year they want 150 despite the fact that they advertise it with a 20% of from last year. Seriously thinking about not getting it for the first time in years.

Can someone recommend a company that changes my ip address. I don't mind paying $6 a month or whatever. I don't want it to affect my speed at all.

I like it, but it is behind by about 30 seconds-1 minute. So stay off social media (Twitter) if you are watching a team you like! Hopefully that gets rectified soon.

Also I found int eh first month it kind of is hit and miss. Sometimes games will freeze on you, or get really choppy, or drop to standard def for a bit. Small annoyances. I still buy it, I watch too much hockey not to haha, well and do not have cable
