Default McDavid's effect on Hall, Eberle and RNH

So now that the Oilers have proven they are the luckiest team ever at the draft, what kind of a bump does this give Hall and Eberle? If Hall was a point per game player before is he a threat for 100+ now? Is Eberle a realistic 90 point threat now? Also, what about RHN? Anyone think he will get moved for a goalie or defenceman?

At 90 points both of these guys would be leading the NHL right now. So I'm picking the under for both. McDavid helps them but there are just so many points to go around.

I tried to sell off Hall, Eberle, and Schultz all year. Sometimes the best trade is the one you don't make.

At the very least their trade value just skyrocketed.

I think this is the worst case scenario for McD, if thats possible. In Buffalo, Arizona, Toronto, Carolina or Columbus, the team would be his, but in Edmonton, the team belongs to Hall, RNH and Eberle. I'm not saying it won't work but it is a different scenario than he would step into in the other cities where he could take the team under his wings.

Honestly, having McDavid merely helps all the Oilers reach their potential. I don't think he increases their potential. Hall, RNH, Eberle, Yakupov, and Schultz all go from inconsistent, struggling players to players who will actually start winning some games and scoring points.

McDavid will immediately be the best player on the team, so he will take some of the heat away from RNH especially. Teams will focus on McDavid's line, and that will free up RNH and his line a little bit. And the power play will be deadly, of course.

The best thing this does for Edmonton is that it might make them more of a destination for FAs.
McDavid could be incentive for a couple d-men to actually consider signing there.
The Oil should be busy this summer -- active getting some veteran presence for all these kiddos.

Pretty much my thoughts. Edm hasn't been the best place for premium talent. That's one crummy culture.
