Protect Allen. You don't want to lose him just when he's taking over. Especially since the new teams will probably not bother taking Miller or Elliott.
We are in the same league, I'm a recent expansion team on the playoff bubble and he is in a dogfight for first overall trying to unseat a guy who has won the first 3 years straight... Itll be my turn soon if everybody around here keeps giving up the kind of advice that has helped me draft some real studs in my first 2 years tho!

Thanks for the reply, if you're still checking this, does spezza become the unprotected if Mcdavid goes to Phoenix? I feel like Boedker is on the verge of a breakout and a guy like Mcdavid will help him go bananas in the desert.

    LW - Michael Raffl
    LW - Nikolaj Ehlers
    RW - Blake Wheeler
    RW - T.J. Oshie
    RW - Nikolay Goldobin
    D - Nick Leddy
    G - Brian Elliott
    G - Ryan Miller

    C - Anze Kopitar
    LW - Jamie Benn
    LW - Gabriel Landeskog
    RW - Steven Stamkos
    RW - Vladimir Tarasenko
    D - Shea Weber
    D - Alex Pietrangelo

    1) Is there anyone that I have listed as "UNTOUCHABLE" that I should look to move?
    2) I have contacted the owner of Evgeny Kuznetsov for a possible trade and have dangled T.J. Oshie being that he is also a Blues' fan like me. Would this a smart thing to keep pursuing?
    3) What do you see Anthony Duclair doing next year; will he be called up with Domi in ARZ?
    4) Who are some good young defensemen that are somewhat under the radar and cheap that I should start targeting?
    5) Which two goalies should I keep heading into next year: Ryan Miller, Brian Elliott, Eddie Lack, or Cam Ward?
    1. I don't see why Weber and Landeskog should be untouchable. I think their name holds more value than their numbers
    2. You can probably get more for Oshie, but that's the right path to go down I think
    3. I question that. I assume Eichel will make the team, and Lessio. So what about Domi and Samuelsson? Duclair has had a couple of issues in junior this year, thus my hesitation. Certainly possible though.
    4. MDZ is now officially underrated. Klingberg. Dumba. Bowey. Gostisbehere
    5. Miller and Ward, the two who are paid big bucks to be starters (regardless of the result)

    Keep 6

Considering looking into acquiring Ovechkin by using one of Rask or Lundqvist
Also may have the opportunity to acquire Rinne by moving Rask or Lundqvist.
    Cheers
Your keepers are bang on, and if you can trade Lundqvist and Hedman for Rinne, you'd upgrade your keepers tremendously

Thanks for taking the time to answer these! If you're still answering questions, I'm curious what you think of my bolded keepers in sig.

Points only, would your 15 keepers be:
Seguin, Benn, Giroux, P. Kane, Tarasenko, Thornton, Okposo, Hornqvist, Drouin
    OEL, Kronwall, Doughty, Klingberg
    Rask, Fleury

Or would you be tempted to keep one of these players over one of the players listed above:
    Brodie, Schultz, Dubnyk, Brassard
I would keep Dubnyk over Hornqvist, otherwise it sounds about right

Always appreciate your insight! Thanks =)

Drop Visnovsky, Kuemper, Bailey, Sekera. Those ones are easy.

I guess last drop would be...between Voynov and Boedker. Voynov, I guess...

Thinking I will keep Seguin, H.Sedin, Toews, Doughty, Halak, Drouin (young player), St. Louis (optional). Thoughts??

I'm just not sure I should have St. Louis as a keeper anymore...Next year is the last year for the league.

    Welcome!

I would keep Yandle over MSL in any format. Otherwise, looks good

Thanks again for the all the awesome info and ramblings over the years!!!
    Congrats! And thank you

I prefer Gaudreau because he's done it. Nyquist is getting there, but not as quickly. Similar upside
