Right now my for sure keepers are:

    C - Barkov, Scheifele
    LW - Huberdeau, Kreider, Pastrnak
    RW - Nyquist, Yakupov
D - Shattenkirk, Josi, Pietrangelo, Klingberg

For my final 3 keepers I am leaning towards Hammond (G), Hutchinson (G) and Schultz (D) but for a rebuilding team would you keep Ennis, Zadorov, Gardiner or Pulkinnen over any of those three?

Stolarz is intriguing, but I would grab Grubauer even though Peters will start the season as backup.

The rest are scraps for trading or back into the draft, any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks for your hard work and the time you dedicate to this.
    Thanks for the kind words

My last two W keepers would be Jaskin for sure...and I guess Zucker

My last two D keepers would be Gardiner and Del Zotto (over Wis, which is a tough call and probably surprises some)

Ovi, Perry, Backes, Wheeler, Mackinnon, Palat, Eberle, Perron (am thinking Ovi, Perry, Mackinnon - torn between wheeler and backes)
Yandle, Streit, Phaneuf, Suter, Dumba, D Pouliot, E Johnson (not sure which 2?)

And which 1 Goalie to keep between Rinne and Holtby? (Wins, Loss(-), Saves, Shutouts (10pts))

    Thanks,
    Ken
    Ovechkin, Perry, Backes, MacKinnon
Yandle, and the other one is very tough. I think I'd go Dumba here.
    And Rinne

Hey Dobber. Thanks for doing this. Mine is a two part-question as they are related.

#1: 12-team points only keeper pool. Keep 15 any position. Top 8 forwards, five dmen and two goalies count. I have one draft pick this offseason, a fourth rounder. I will be keeping Malkin, Ovi, Kessel, Benn, Pavelski, Letang, Carlson, Shattenkirk, Yandle, Streit, Price, and Fleury for sure. Who should my last three keepers be out of this list: Little, Iginla, Backes, Foligno, Kesler, Bozak, Pominville, Goligoski, Visnovsky, and Chara.

#2: Same pool, I am tired of Malkin being injured every year and feel I am always leaving points on the table that someone else could get for me. I feel like offering Malkin to get the number one pick (once our draft lottery is done in a month or two) and then draft McDavid (obviously, it probably wouldn't be a straight up deal). I could also keep one more player from that list above to replace Malkin. Am I crazy for even considering this?

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

    OEL
    Faulk
    Burns
    Yandle
    Giordano.

That's my order but I am guessing you and most others would move Faulk way down - but he does shoot and hit with the best of 'em.

    Thanks for the input.
Faulk does indeed shoot and hit with the best of them. The hits being a category really drives Yandle's value way down. I would have to agree with your ranking, though in points-only I would put Yandle first.

I think Ryan is a 65+ player. He'll get back there.

Vanek seems to be 60+, but every year he does most of it in the first or second half. He's a half-season player. It used to be the first half, but now it looks like the second half is his cup of tea. I don't like owning him, for this reason. And if I had him and he got off to a great start (30 games), I would trade him.

Same question for Hedman: worth it to try to trade someone like Barrie + a rookie (Gaudreau) for him?

Or should I just keep what I have?
    Kucherov is a rookie?
Man, that's tough. Can't drop any of those five, wow...

If you can get MacKinnon for Simmonds and Stone then do that, rather than drop one of them. And getting Hedman for Barrie+ is not the way to go. Someone besides Barrie. But trade a veteran F plus Trouba for Hedman would be awesome if you can pull it off.

Anyone you could recommend over Atkinson too would be great. I just know CBJ plays Buf and Tor. Mind you I could drop Holtby as well since Wash only has 2 games left and I think Peters will start one, I just may need that extra game if he plays well

It is a 1 year league. All normal stats for forwards (+/-, g, a, pim, ppp, shp) except it has SOG count as well
I would drop Pac for Atkinson, that's the right move here. Frankly I don't think we see Pac until playoffs.

    Points only
5 keepers locked: Stamkos, Malkin, Ovechkin, Parise, Price.
If I decide to keep a D, it would be Josi, easy pick.
But, finding D depth at the draft is easier than F depth with a 9 F and 4 D lineup.
So, I would prefer to enter the draft with 5 F.
I have a buch of similar players to fill the spot.
Can you rank these players for their keeper value:
    Foligno
    Ladd
    Ribeiro
    Marleau
    Plekanec
    Backes
    Thank you!
