Morrissey + for Draisaitl?

Brendan Perlini
2016 2nd

Leon Draisaitl

Draisaitl seems to be a slam dunk easy choice depending on the value of that 2nd.

It's a fair deal, depends on your team needs. If your team doesn't have much depth, then keep Morrissey and Perlini. But if your team has good depth already, then take the best player who is Draisaitl. Quality over quantity if you can afford it.

Personally, I'd stick with Draisaitl over Perlini and Morrisey. But I really don't know the value of a 2nd round pick in your league. If it means you'll have to drop 2 prospects to make this deal, then I'd really just stick with what you have.

OK, didn't notice that. Then I would keep Draisaitl, you have plenty of depth already.

You're lacking a little on 'D', so how about offering someone like Poirier for Morrissey straight-up?

I plan on grabbing one of the top defensemen from this years draft with my first pick.

Its a question more of what types of players are available with that pick. I see that since its a dynasty this pick is only for players from the rookie draft pool? If so keep Draisaitl.

That sounds like a great idea. You're hoping Draisaitl becomes what Johansen already is, while the age difference is very minimal, so definitely check if that would be possible.
