    Default More baseball trade advice

Same league as before with the following setup:

    Singles (1B) 1.5 Doubles (2B) 3
    Triples (3B) 4.5 Home Runs (HR) 6
    Walks (BB) 1.5 Runs Scored (R) 2
Runs Batted In (RBI) 2 Stolen Bases (SB) 2
    Strikeouts (K) -2 Intentional Walks (IBB) 1.5
Hit by Pitch (HBP) 1.5 Caught Stealing (CS) -2
Ground into Double Plays (GIDP) -2 Errors (E) -2

I have been offered one of Kyle Seager or Matt Carpenter for my Rougned Odor. The guy needs a 2B and I have three on my rosters so it works for both of us. I just don't know what 3B to accept in his offer. Last year, Seager had 558.5 points and Carpenter had 552 points.

Who do you prefer between Seager and Carpenter given my league setup?
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

This is a tough one man, I would probably go with age to be honest Seagar at 27 has put together three years with slow consistent growth which makes me think his slumps/swoons or down years aren't as volatile as carps three year period.

Thanks. Ya I know it's a tough one. I will probably go with Seager but was wondering if I was alone there.

Seager for me as well. Its close but Bazz hit the nail on the head here. Seager is entering his age 27 season and showed consistent growth. Safeco dilutes his value a bit but I still prefer him to Carpenter.

Another thing to consider - Seager may have more perceived value in your league given last year's production (people remember homers more than runs). That could help if you even considered a future deal.
