    Default Playoff Push... decent deal?

I'm nipping at the heels of 1st place this season but can't quite seem to over take. With the Playoffs a mere 2 (or 3) weeks away, I pulled off the following deal (team not in sig)

    My Bobrovsky, Stepan and Vatanen
    for
His Andersen, Tyler Johnson and Boychuck

    My rationale

Stepan really wasn't doing much for me this season and Love TJ as a C/RW replacement
Bob...well he can't seem to stay healthy and clearly Columbus is not making it to the playoffs. With Crawford/Darling and Talbot/Lundy already in place, I have a feeling that Andersen will provide better quality starts than BOB when I do use him.
While Vatanen was amazing for me at the start of the year, this injury and the recently crowded blue line makes me weary of his future. Boychuk may not post as many points (maybe he will) but atleast he's playing.

    face value? Thoughts?
Team's new look (after moving Vatanen, Stepan and Bob)
    C - Toews, Backstrom, T.Johnson, Zetterberg
L - Foligno, Soderberg, Parise, Abdelkador,
    R - P.Kane, Carter, Voracek, Eberle
D - Keith, Brodie, Rielly, Franson, Trouba, Savard, Boychuk
    G - Lundy/Talbot, Crawford/Darling, Andersen

12 team, head to head league (keep all)

I would have done the same.

Add in the fact Columbus' schedule doesnt look promising the last two weeks of playoffs and this make it look even better.

Vatanen probably won't see any time till your fantasy finals, Boychuk is a nice filler even without blocks/hits as categories. The dude will help in +/- and pickup some PPP.

Overall nice little deadline deal for the push. Goodluck!

I like the skaters part of the deal quite a bit. TJ is a huge win, Boychuk for the injured Vatanen who will be behind Wiz when he does return is also a theft.

Bob has a great schedule in H2H playoffs. Andersen could be in a time-share with Gibson the rest of the year and going forward, and Anaheim doesn't have a great schedule for the playoffs. That is my only concern with the deal. Still, I think you win here easily.

I initially had the same concern regarding ANA and Andersen vs COL and BOB, however I snapped out of it pretty quickly when I reminded myself that either is still likely #3 behind Lundqvist (who's expected back soon) and Crawford. Andersen can be a strategic plug and play and with the Anaheim off dates... hopefully that allows for more flexibility in his usage.

Damn that last week of the season he does, which my playoffs don't include.

    Mar.23- 29 Quarterfinals(my semis) - Bobs schedule is crap - ANA,CHI,STL
Mar. 30 - APR 5 Probably your semifinals(my finals) - NJ, NYI, PITT
