Couture vs. Toews

Being offered Toews for my Couture, Stats categories as follows:

Cooch Toews

G 21 21

A 33 32

P 54 53

+/- 0 23

PPP 20 16

SHP 2 3

GWG 2 3


As you can see, the categories are basically washed, with the +/- being the exception. I'm a major fan of Couture, I see him hitting one more gear. That plus/minus is nothing to sneeze at though, but I could remedy that via drafting depth players.... I guess my question is, with these categories who do you want as a keeper to build your team around?

Toews for me. Their stats are pretty much even other than +/- like you said. So give me the guy with more name recognition.

I prefer couture here. I like his C/LW flexibility - I also think he's got another gear we haven't seen and i feel like from
A fantasy standpoint he maybe able to produce more, with so much of toews' attention being paid on the back check and other non fantasy related variables - I'd go with Couture

Chicago is in tough next year with their cap management. Maybe the quality of line mates for Toews decrease a bit.

Couture has just gotten better each year and maybe has one more level to reach once Thornton and Marleau hit the road.

They're close so I think the team factors in huge when deciding who to keep.
