Jaskin is already with the Blues, and playing on the third line, with 2nd PP. He could give you 20-25 goals next year with many hits.
I'm not so sure about Mantha, he seems having difficulties adjusting to the faster pace. Not certain how long it will take before having his chance with DET.
He has the higher upside though.

I'd go with Mantha, seems like he is destined for a top six role with Detroit. Rumour is that Phaneuf deal did not happen because Leafs wanted Mantha but it was too steep for Detroit. Jaskin's seems like a long shot to make the top six on the Blues with their depth. I'd guess it depends on how long you want to wait on Mantha.

Jaskin will give you production sooner. Long term though I prefer Mantha.
