w, gaa, sv%, so
me: 3, 1.297, .9529, 0
him: 4, 1.313, .9497, 2
no starter has been confirmed yet, but i could have holtby @ phi @12:30, and my opponent has dubnyk vs dal @8. if dubnyk lets in 1 goal in less than 27 shots than i should win sv% but will lose gaa on anything less than 1 goal allowed. would you guys start holtby or sit him and make dubnyk beat me? i don't want to pick up a spot start because i need a skater for other categories. thanks for the help.

i would bench... the only way he's going to beat you at the moment is if Duby lets in 1 goal from 30 shots... so you essentially have 2 categories in the bag... best case scenario is that Holtby wins and you draw in the wins column...
best case scenario: Holtby wins and you draw wins...
worst case scenario: Holtby craps the bed and you lose 2 categories...
The risk isn't worth the reward... Let him beat you...

Betting against Dubnyk right now is a scary proposition, but I don't think it's worth starting Holtby.
The red-hot Wild will most likely beat the Stars tomorrow (especially after tonight's soul sapping loss), so even if Holtby wins tomorrow, you likely won't gain any ground in the W column while putting your ratios at risk.
i would definitely bench.
maas outlined it pretty well. i would make him beat you with an incredible game by duby. if it happens it happens.
