Monahan+Klingberg for JVR

Is my Monahan+Klingberg for his JVR good for me? I'm sitting on 5 keeper worthy D right now, wouldn't hurt to move 1. Or will Monahan soon be at JVR's level and I've lost out on Klingberg's potential?

I'm somewhat comfortably in a playoff position at the moment.

I don't think I do that deal - as you alluded to, I think Monahan = JVR, both in the 60-70 pt range. Klingberg isn't a flash in the pan, he's a 45+ point guy.

Yeah I dunno, I think Monahan is on par with JVR in terms of point production that you wouldn't gain a lot from doing the deal certainly not enough to sacrifice Klingberg...

Seems like a lot to pay for a guy who is on a team that literally cant score a single fkn goal most nights. I honestly wouldn't want to own any Toronto players for the rest of the season because they are clearly mailing it in until someone who doesn't have "interim" in his job title takes over.

I like JVR but not that much. I only do this if it definitely puts me in the money or wins me a championship. If that's not the case then you are giving up too much.

Keep whatcha got. I personally like JVR over Mona, but klingberg is a little much to pay on he exchange rate.

With the way the Leafs like playing what I call "hockey golf" (they believe the lowest score wins), I would be just as content to hold on to Monahan and Klingberg ( 4 points last night vs. Winnipeg).
