I'm personally of the opinion that Stewart won't get traded, so there is that. Doesn't seem like there is much of a market for him, and he's not exactly lighting it up in a way that will make other teams want him.

Stewart is a streaky wildcard. He has 4 point in his last 4 games and played 17:25/game.

Cammalleri "is nursing some soreness and was unable to practice Thursday, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports." I don't have faith that Cammalleri plays most of the Devils final games. He is an injury wildcard.

I'll take the streaky wildcard over the injury wildcard at this point in the season -- If you are digging around in this muck this time of year you are looking for the diamond in the rough.

I've heard a lot of teams have been kicking the tires on Stewart actually, but I don't really know where these rumors come from. I think the problem is that Murray would be selling low on him and he doesn't seem the type to not get everthing he can. Why would he bother? The Sabres rebuild is not going to be over next year. He has plenty of time to get a good return.
