Perron Gametime with Illness

David Perron is battling an illness.

Advice: Perron's status for Tuesday's contest remains unclear as a result. The Penguins have a lot of game-time decisions, which makes it somewhat difficult to project their lineups for their upcoming contest. However, it's believed that Perron will play alongside Nick Spaling and Beau Bennett if he's available.

So Perron is looking like he’ll be dropped down to 2^nd line with Horns return, and with Malkin out he’d be a fringe start in a jam packed night of hockey if he was healthy. Now with this report, I don’t think I would start Perron in many situations.

With both Crosby and Malkin out, it's hard to start any of the Penguins' wingers

yeah this is a little frustrating but not unexpected. we'll see how it goes, hopefully everyone gets healthy fast.
