(sorry, was just correcting spelling in title - may have accidentally locked thread - pressed wrong button).
Now - I think I'd hold your D.
I like all of them over Muzzin.
Not team in Sig but same cats.
Muzzin avail on the wire. Worth replacing one of the following D I own for Muzzin? ( full keeper)
Franson
Edler
Brodie
Keith
Vatanen
Trouba
Tks!

Thanks Pen. And for the spelling update. Missed. That...quick post.
Might be better than Franson down the stretch.
The rest you've listed are primed for a strong end to the season

I'd take Muzzin over Edler and maybe over Brodie. Muzzin's primed for a 40 point season and should will out point Edler overall as well as on the power play. It wouldn't be close if Muzzin wasn't having an abnormally bad season in terms of +/-. Nothing about Edler's numbers suggest a boost to his current point pace. The only way he has a big second half is if the Canucks' power play takes as serious leap forward. Muzzin on the other hand while already ahead of Edler in points has an on-ice shooting percentage below 8%. That means that he could actually see his production improve a little. Edler is probably the better all round defenseman but Muzzin is the better fantasy d. The removal of Voynov from the Kings lineup was a very good thing for Muzzin his minutes at even strength and the on power play both got a nice bump. The 40+ point pace Muzzin is on is entirely sustainable.
If you really want to keep Edler I think TJ Brodie's a legitimate option to drop for Muzzin. Brodie's percentages are still pretty high, 9% individually and 12% on-ice, meaning that the regression he went through before the allstar break isn't necessarily done. The Flames were really lucky early in the season and Brodie was a big time beneficiary and is still flying a little high as a result. He wouldn't be my first choice but it's something to consider.
Thanks guys.
I did make one flaw. Cats, while very similar to my sig, also include shots and SHP. And it's head to head. Muzzin seems to be a good option in the shots category aswell. Does that help swing the scales?
I don't think he's an upgrade over anything you already have. Maybe Franson, but his value could go up if/when he leaves the Leafs.
