In a keeper league, none of those deals would interest me.
Totally torn here. I have received 2 offers for Hall and am considering both, as well as wondering if I should just stand pat.
1) Zetterberg, Sedin, Sedin - Hall and Anders Lee
2) Ekman-Larsson and Kreider - Hall
My take: The first one provides a solid boost up front to try and make a second half run and should also be good for the next couple of years BUT the obvious issue is that I am taking on a lot of age and declining fwds for my cornerstone player. Lee also hurts as I like him a lot (and we are a goal heavy league). If it meant locking down first place, I'd do it, but I am not sure the guy in first will be caught.
Second one is different but equally tempting. I love OEL and our league rewards huge for D goals. He would solidify my already stellar core of D for years and Kreider should be a 30-30 power forward and still nice and young. I lose the better forward, but land a stud D and solid fwd.
Is either of these worth it, or do I just keep Hall and hope for better days?
Thanks a lot

The only one that might interest me is the first one because of how much pure offense is coming back (I would probably still decline). The second deal is total garbage and should not even be considered.

Big pass on offer #2
Offer #1 is a deal where you can take it if you are all in for the title, but otherwise pass. In your case I'd pass here as well.

IF you were to guarantee a championship this season maybe the first deal, but I think that Taylor Hall will right the ship. He's too damn good and so young. He's an ideal cornerstone player. I made a deal in my league to get him giving up Toews and a draft pick upgrade to obtain him (and Dustin Byfuglien while he was slumping as a 3rd line winger). I miss Toews but know that Hall is a better point-producer than Toews and younger. Not to mention there's the possibility of an offseason trade for Hall, or possible pairing with Connor McDavid...either of those options increase his value long-term and he's been producing points lately he just has been snakebitten.
Hold on to Hall unless you get a bona fide offer sent your way that you can't say no to.
Neither of them would interest me.

Hall is your only bonafide star. Don't let him go unless it's a jaw dropping offer.

Thanks a lot fellas. I rejected the Swedish invasion.
May regret this one, but I ended up accepting an offer of Forsberg and Drouin for Hall.
My take: Hoping that Forsberg's breakout year will continue and help give me a little pop for the second half. Also, hoping I have landed two young studs for the price of one, even though Hall is the best of them. May add it to the list of regrets, but I am happy enough with it. Keeps me in it this year, keeps my core nice and young, and adds some serious stud potential in Drouin.
Thanks a lot for taking the time - REP coming
