I agree. I am more confident in McElhinney playing in Bobrovsky's absence than Forsberg.

McElhinney for me as well. In the last five full games he's played: 3-1 W vs BOS; 4-3 W vs COL; 6-2 W vs BOS; 2-1 L vs NAS; and 4-3 W vs PHI.
If it's a weekly setting, I can't see how you go for anyone but the expected starter for CLB.

I'm surprised to see no love for Mazanec!
Last year, he played better than Hutton when Rinne went down. This year, the Preds are one of the best team in the West, compared to the reeling and injured Blue Jackets...?
The Preds play 4 games, and 1 back to back game this week. I guess Mazanec is guaranteed at least one start, but not of the quality variety being probably the tail end of the back to back.
My main concern with McElhinney is that even if he gets the starts, he produces really bad stats.
