Keeper league salary cap multi cat I own stammer

U think he may be unaffordable in 2 years in a cap league
however I am competing and is 8 this year and 5.5 next which is super cheap

I am considering trading stammer for terrasemko straight up reason being he will be affordable for many years

I also own schwartz and lehterah

Am I nuts?

I personaly am leaning on making the deal and trading stammer

its not a good sell, I like Tarasenko but he's no Stamkos even in a cap league. Aim higher or have him add to it.

Tavares, get Tavares. If you’re that worried about cap issues, Tavares has an extra yr at 5.5m, but will also explode just like stamkos. Or Malkin/Perry/Giroux. Malkin is 9.5m a yr, Perry is 8.6m/yr, Giroux is like 8.2m/yr. Stamkos will be 10mill easily. EASILY, but he’ll be 10m till like 2026, the guys I listed are “cheap” till 2020-22. By then who knows what Giroux could ask for (12m?).

Also Tarasenko is in his final Rookie contract yr, he’ll get 5mill easily next yr, and if I remember they didn’t let Peitrangelo and Shattenkirk do a bridge deal then. I don’t think Tarasenko is a flash in the pan, but I do think he’s overachieving. His goals have been very fortuitous. He’s at a 50goal pace right now, and a 90pt pace. I can’t see him keeping that up, but let’s say he does, look out for that contract explosion.
