I get: Filppula and Craig Anderson

I give: Granny and injured Comeau

my take: Basically a 241 as Comeau is a drop. I like Filps and he has a solid role in TB and Ottawa has a complimentary schedule for Andy to get lots of starts on ANA off nights. BUT, guys like Dubnyk and Ward are on the wire and have similar value as Andy so I am basically doing Granny/Filps - which is perhaps too lateral to give up on Granny.

not so torn anymore. Decided to pass on this one and see what else I can do for Granny. Im not really in it this year, so may be for the best to stick as is and see what next year brings from Granny. Still would appreciate any takes on the offer though....

If this is about this year then that would have been a good move if it puts you in the money or better yet, wins a championship. Sounds like you made the right decision. Granlund will require some patience but if the projections around here are accurate it will be worth the wait he should be a valuable asset especially in a points only. If your certain your not in the hunt this year now is the time to start looking at your roster, defining the holes, identifying your trading assets and building for next year. You have a nice core of D and F that you can build on but primarily I'd be looking to improve between the pipes. Good Luck.

Ended up moving Granny and Scandella for Cam Fowler and JT Miller.

Think its a good sell high on Scandy and love adding Fowler to the core. Maybe bailed on Granny a little early but Fowler worth it
