Trade Help: Perry for Stammer

In my dynasty league, the one that is in my signature, I offered the following deal to another owner, which was accepted:

Corey Perry + Mark Giordano + Johnny Gaudreau (P) + Kerby Rychel (P)

for

Steven Stamkos + Mike Green

When looking at this trade, I don't really give much attention to the (P)ropspects, which are kept in a separate pool until we call them up. So I look at this trade as Perry/Gio for Stammer/Green.

I now have probably one of the scariest core of keep-17 players that includes: Crosby, Stammer, Kopitar, Benn, Tarasenko, Landeskog, Weber, and Pietrangelo to name the few I label as "untouchable".

In the end, was this a good move?

Dynasty league is keep all, but it seems like you only keep 17 from your pro roster. It would be interesting to see your farm team as well.

I am not sure this is such a great deal for you but it's not bad - I think you downgraded at D to upgrade at RW. Those are 2 decent prospects you threwinto the deal.

Anyway, happiness is owning Stamkos, Merry Christmas.

Not a terrible deal but I wouldn't have done that. A ppg winger is worth a 90-95 pt center easily and like Shoeless said, those are some nice prospects you threw in for Green, a guy who's always hurt

Yea didn't see the need to lose Gaudreau here, but not a bad deal. nice!

I love this trade for you. Very good job getting Stamkos. Stamkos is also listed as RW on yahoo so he isn't giving up a RW for a C. The downgrade at D is worth it to get Stamkos.
