    Default JVR or Hornqvist

Who do you prefer in a keeper that counts G, A, +/-, PIM, Hits, Blocks. No positions like LW, RW, C, simply all forwards. Prior to this year I would have said JVR all day, now I think I lean toward Horns....

Still like JVR here by a small margin but couldn't fault anybody for picking Hornqvist

Definitely Hornqvist. James Neal 2.0. And no one could have convinced me that JVR was a better own than James Neal 1.0

I REALLY like JVR but even then I have to prefer Hornq. Can't get a better situation and he's in Pittsburgh for the foreseeable future given his current contract.

Horns periphs are slightly better, but still not enough to say ones a better periph player. If this was a position locked league, I’d say JvR easily because LW are harder to find, but with it just as a forward league this is so close.

Usually when it’s this close I’d say the team that’s more offensively geared, but Toronto is top 3 in goals this yr, and Pitts is Pitts. My next go to is the situation, while JvR has Bozak and Kessel, Horns has either Malkin or Crosby. As hard as it is to believe, the situations are still close. Then it’s age my next go-to. Horns is 27, JvR 25. Still damn close.

Honestly one can’t say which will do vastly better than the other. But based on JvR having more raw talent, and has gotten better with the same players yr after yr with the Leafs, I’d take JvR

JVR. Situation matters, but pure talent, he's the man.

I'm in a similar situation. I'd prefer JVR. Hornqvist is doing well based on who he plays with moreso than JVR.

I was asking because it was on my mind as far as a trade goes, but I was able to acquire Hornqvist while keeping JVR....so it's win-win. Being very sensitive to +/- (which I know they say is a crap shoot), I think I lean toward Hornqvist here.....thanks.
