Is Karlsson's value really that bad ?
I know he's underperforming, and his defensive side has been monstruous, but is this a trend ?

I don't think his value should have plummeted that far. That's a really bad offer.

ya that's a pretty bad offer... and it's not like RNH has been doing any better. They have the same amount of points in the same number of games, but Karlsson does it from a D slot, which is huge. I wouldn't even counter offer, personally.

Karlsson is on pace for like 50pts and is slated as having an awful year. That’s some d-mans career years. The fact RNH has the hype of his rookie yr hype still is mind boggling to me. Terrible (and insulting) offer

I would hold onto Karlsson, he's the bee's knees. Guy is a fantasy hero, just sucks his team is garbage. I'd hold onto him for a better offer. If someone is offering you players for him, hold out and watch the offers increase. This guy knows Karlsson's value isn't as high as it usually is and is trying to get you to undersell on him. Hold strong!

Yeah be careful in these cases as you can overpay. Since you countered I could see a rejection and a further counter, which wouldn't give you appropriate value. As said, Karlsson's value is low right now so I wouldn't rush to trade him. If you want to buy low on MacKinnon, I wouldn't use the best defenseman to acquire him.

You did the right thing here. I didn't like the counter that much more than the original offer.
I think that a lot of the shine has worn off the Edmonton penny and that some of those owners are now in salvage-mode.
