    Default Selling high on Brodie?

I got an offer for TJ Brodie, Marco Scandella, Carl Hagelin & my 2nd round pick for Jori Lehtera, Mats Zuccarello and Justin Schultz and I could use some advice. I was originally looking to get Palat and/or Kadri from this guy but he doesn't want to trade either.

    +/-2 pts for W/L, 1 pt for OTL, 5 for SHO, 3 for 1 GA, 2 for 2 GA... 0 for 4+ GA

Forwards: Atkinson, Backlund, Boedker, Grabner, Hagelin, Kruger, K Palmieri, Raffl, Rakell, Sekac, Zucker, Boucher, D Leblanc, Pastrnak, Pulkkinen, Rychel, Sanford, Tynan, Virtanen
Defense: Barrie, Brodie, Coburn, Gudbranson, Merrill, Orpik, Scandella, Nurse, Siemens

I'd stand pat with what you've got, or at least get one of the guys you want in the deal. Especially giving up a 2nd round pick tilts this in the other guy's favour for sure. Lehtera's production is tied directly to Tank, he could fall off the map if he gets moved to another line or Tank slumps. A Zuccarello-level player could probably be had via free agency and Shultz is no better than Brodie, even if Brodie slows down which is bound to happen.

I say pass or push for Kadri or Palat.

I'm not so worried about the pick even though I could probably find someone who would be an improvement somewhere; I'm pretty happy with my group of prospects. Because the league is so big, the best FAs are Ryan Carter, Steve Bernier and Dale Weise, but I used my one FA pickup already anyway.

That's not even selling high though.
Not really sure what Zucc is capable of, I just dropped him - solid player, but 60 points like he put up last season might not be what he's consistently capable of.
Lehtera's already slowing down, and I didn't think he was capable of putting up more than 55 points a season anyway.
You don't want to mess around with anyone on the Oilers...especially a defenceman like Schultz who consistently makes positioning mistakes + turnovers the puck like no other.

Hence the question mark... but i agree on Zuccarello and I wasn't sure about Lehtera despite a strong third of a season.

So that deal fell apart since that guy wouldnt part with Palat or Kadri. Got another inquiry which to which I suggested something based around Boedker and Brodie for Skinner and OEL. He asked if I would be interested in Klefbom instead of OEL and I said no thanks. This might take a while.
