Bozak vs Stepan and Carlson vs Chara/McDonaugh

I currently have Bozak and Carlson on my team. Stepan, Chara, and McDonaugh are all in FA. Should I swap Bozak for Stepan or Carlson for either Chara or McDonaugh or Klingberg. My IR is empty so I could place one of Chara or McDonaugh on the IR but I would have to hope whoever I drop clears waivers so I can pick them back up. Should I stay with what I have or make a move?

Another option is to show Carlson + Bozak for a better dman and pickup Stepan when the trade goes through. Not a lot of good defensemen out there that I could get with that offer. I talked to the Subban owner who is way in last but he wants goaltending in return, which I can't afford.

Stepan is better than Bozak. Although their linemates are arguarbly equal, Bozak is too streaky of a player to start consistently. However, you could ride the hot hand with Bozak. I'd drop Carlson, but only to make space for Hedman.

Stepan and Bozak are pretty even in my opinion. Stepan might get you a little more SOG and a slightly better +/-. Everyone knocks Bozak not being a typical center but he's been pretty steady fantasy wise the last couple of years. + this year his shots a way up. It's pretty close so might as well keep Bozak.

As far a Carlson goes, he's only holding a space for Hedman. Carlson loses a lot of value in a non-blocks league. Grab Klingberg and ride him until Hedman returns.

I don't have Hedman fellas, I think you are looking at my other league. I only have Carlson and Vetanen in the league I'm discussing.

So do I keep Carlson or go with Klingberg, Chara, or McDonaugh?

It's a daily league so why not grab Chara and slide him into your IR and ride Kling until he cools of or Chara is activated? Chara or McD both work but with your cats and McDonagh's shoulder I say go Chara.

I would still drop Carlson. Pick up Chara, put him on IR and then pick up Klingberg. No changes to my Stepan/Bozak analysis.
