offer for my Eberle
Team in my sig. A while back I offered Eberle (and Svedberg/Sceviour) for McDonagh and Holtby. He's now come back swapping out Holtby for Pavelec coming my way.
I'm in contention (currently in first place).
Is this something I should consider, or is Eberle clearly the best player so this is a no-go? Of note, I own Hutchinson (Pavelec's handcuff). Like many others, I'm not a believer in Hutchinson. I like McDonagh, although he had a rough start to this season.

I like the eberle side better myself. I wouldnt take it.
I really don't trust pavelec.

Thanks guys. I haven't responded yet and he's made a different offer too, this time including Holtby but he wants too much. He's basically valuing Holtby as a star starting goalie - am I wrong to not value him quite that highly? Hasn't really proven it yet for my money. His new offer if my Eberle/JVR/Domi(or a good pick)/Hutchinson/Svedberg for his Holtby/McDonagh/L. Ericksson/deHann/Prince.

Do not trade for Pavalec.
He will not sustain this and I bet is not the #1 in Winnipeg vy end of season.
The second offer is better but I still think you are giving up too much. Having said that I do think Holtby is a top 5-10 goalie with Trotz there now so he won't come cheap.

What if I countered by removing Domi/Prince - i.e. with my Eberle/JVR/Hutchinson/Svedberg for his Holtby/McDonagh/Loui Ericksson/Calvin de Hann?
Would suck to lose Eberle/JVR... but is the return worth it?
