Trade Big Buff for Jamie Benn?

Someone in my league recently acquired Benn for really cheap, but was commenting to me that the transaction would leave him with an extra forward, when he was looking for a defenseman. I told him I would trade Byfuglien for Benn and we came to an informal agreement.


If this goes through, I'd have to trade a forward to properly work Benn into my lineup, but I think its worth the effort, although I don't know who I'd trade or what to look for in return.


What does everyone think about this trade?

He is acquiring Benn and Iginla for Krug and Callahan if it doesn't get vetoed (this was offered by the Benn owner). Dealing with two first year managers here.

I'm not sure it's a good idea from a karmic standpoint, the whole idea of taking advantage of a crazy person, but I would certainly hand him a crayon and tell him sign here. That is if he isn't wearing one of those jackets with the longggg sleeves that do up in the back. So, ahhhh, yeah take it and run.

I feel like I already did the right thing by advising him to make the Benn for Callahan trade, instead of just making a better offer to the original Benn owner. Morally I'm almost in the clear!

I'd look to move wheeler or Kunitz. Good in yor format and of u need to pick up a defenseman I'd look for maybe weber for wheeler.
