    Default Is Lucic Droppable? [REP]

Perennial beast in our format, even with mediocre point totals. However, hasn't clicked yet at all. Chance to pick up Mack and I feel like time is running out to add him. Plus, I have four lw's right now.

    Would you drop him?

In your format, not a chance. He's probably a top 20 guy, why would you even think of dropping him?

He's not doing anything of substance.

    Prout thinks he is "droppable"

There has to be a way to trade him in this kind of league. Too much name value.

Which is why I'm stuck differentiating between real value and "my league's value". For ex. Mack >>>>>>> Lucic, but not looking at the points.

    The dilemma I face everyday.

"Well, ______ is light years better and could put up more points. Ohh. He doesn't hit. He just scores goals."

my biggest frustration with lucic has always been his lack of SOGs. since my league doesn't include hits, lucic's value is boiled down to mostly assists, PIMs and plus-minus. but with your cats (hits and PIMs but no SOGs) and lucic's usual center krejci impressive this season whenever he's been healthy, i think you'd be doing yourself a disservice by dropping looch. to me a trade is the best solution if you want to make room for mack. offer a 2-for-1 where the player you get back is only slightly better than the best guy you send.

Settle down, Lucic will be fine. Keep him and see.
