O'Reilly

Beginning to wonder if O'Reilly is droppable in my league? I haven't played him for quite some time and while I don't really need the roster space in a max games league, it would be nice to have a more productive player to call on from time to time.

When he wasn't playing with Duchene he had some value in getting FOW from the wing. Looks like he took some faceoffs last game but he is pretty cold otherwise. I keep thinking the Av's can't keep this crap up but at the 1/4 pole the sample size in a one year league is fairly large.

Anyone see a reason to hang onto him?

Who are the sorts of players who you can get on the waiver wire right now? If they're in the same ballpark, there is nothing to lose with dropping him, but if the next best guy out there is Will Acton, then I'd hang onto him

Well since it's a multicat league, guys like Abdelkader, Girgensens, Stoll, Glencross, Belesky all show decent value. I could really use a C the most. As far as cats go I need goals and assists pretty much more than anything. Back up goalies of interest are Mzarek, Nabbie, Labarbera, but don't really think I need one, as much as it can't hurt to have lots of goaltending in this league in case of injury.

I think I would wait a little longer, buy him some time. I think that's still a bit of a drop off if only in 'name value'

Thanks D. Intuitively I think that's where I have been with him. I can ride it out in hopes he finds a spark, there is no urgency.
