I actually think Bourque may have some value on the perry getzlaf line. Heatley never was gonna work there, bourque had a good stint in Calgary, so I could see this work.

Good move to set up for the summer. Habs will need to go get some more F depth (unless the kids are ready) but they can find reasonable help for cheap.

Bourque Traded to Anaheim

Rene Bourque has been shipped to the Anaheim Ducks for defenseman Bryan Allen.
Bourque had two assists in 13 games with the Canadiens before passing through waivers and heading to the minors. He has notched two goals and two assists in four games with Hamilton in the AHL since the move.
Anyone think good ole Rene might get a shot at the top line with Getzlaf and Perry?

Just wondering the same thing? I have to think he does get a chance. I like DSP on that line, but he's not getting numbers and missing games won't help. I give him a good chance of getting a trial run and I'm going to add him
