Trade Brodie for?

There's a guy in my league desperate for D because of injuries/suspension, and I think I'm pretty stacked. I'm thinking this is a good time to shop Brodie. Here are some guys he's got that I would probably be interested in;

Chara (D)
Kopitar (C)
Vanek (LW)
Thornton (C)

A few of those ideas may be a reach, but my thinking is maybe I can package Brodie/Ribeiro (or Soderberg) to get Kopitar or Thornton, maybe package Elias/Brodie to get Vanek, or ask for Chara straight up (knowing he's out 4-6 weeks). The guy has Tarasenko too, but RW is probably what I need least. He also has Franzen and I can use an upgrade at LW, but his injuries drive me crazy.

Thoughts? My team is in my signature - all feedback is welcome.

It's a good time to after Kopitar... he's been cool for sure to start the year.
You could offer Pearson/Brodie for Kopitar.
That's a decent offer, IMO.

Agree with Pengwin here. Kopitar is the best player on that list and he's started slow so he's definitely a buy-low candidate.

Interesting thoughts guys - I have a bit of a reservation of trading Pearson given that we have to ice a rookie, but then again I do have Anders Lee on my bench. I take it there's a general feeling that Pearson is playing way over his head?

I think Pearson will regress, but still be soild. If Kopitar can be had for Brodie+Pearson, take it and run

I think you are trying to make a trade that is not gonna happen. I own brodie, but if I didn't, I wouldn't be going after him. He's a guy that will produce, maybe excellent stats this year, but nobody will trade much unless it's a keeper. Just my 2 cents

even up for Chara works too, if you can absorb him being out another month.
Put Chara on IR and there may be someone on WW that could help you.

I'm not sure Iwould trade Brodie even up for Chara even in a 1-year, given the time he'll be out.

BAsed on the latest news regarding uncertainty as to whether Chara iwll undergo surgery, I definitely would not move Brodie for him. Frankly I think Brodie woudl have outscored Chara this year either way, maybe even outperformed him in multicats.
