Staal over Saad for me.

10 team league I would drop Turris for Staal as you need to have a bench for each position. It is easier to find centers on WW in this type of league.

Do you have any multi-position forwards?

Ideally I'd like to see you drop Saad instead of Turris, but that only makes sense if you can swap your forwards around enough to have at least 3 for each position.

Saad is buried under some depth in Chicago, so I think it's a close call, Turris has performed so far higher...

I'd probably stick with Saad because of the offensive powerhouse of chicago vs ottowa.

"edit": Either way, Staal>saad/turris, so it doesn't really matter. Especially if someone DROPPED STAAL!! They probably won't pick these guys up. You have no depth in your league.

With my settings I don't think I can realistically hold Tavares, Staal and Turris as strictly C players.
I agree Saad might typically be the drop but his LW/RW eligibility does come into play fairly often.

Yeah in some leagues value goes beyond production. Position eligibility can be huge.

Anyway, Staal is definitely a guy worth adding. Even though some people have soured on him but he still produces a ton across the board.

I'd have no trouble dropping Saad for Staal in this case.

With Staal, you have the following:

5 C - Tavares, Turris, Staal, Datsyuk, Duchene
3 LW - Duchene, Datsyuk, Parise
3 RW - St. Louis, Okposo, Vrbata

That nicely covers you at all three forwards positions. Yes, you have 5 centers, but you still have one extra at each wing position. If anything, I'd pick up Staal and try to move one of your other centers (ideally Turris) for a winger.
