    Default Dropping Brad Richards

Looking to (finally) drop Brad Richards now that it looks like he is staying on the 3rd line.

Here are a few LW's I've been keeping my eyes on:

    Vermette
    Tlusty
    Burakovsky
Beleskey, then pick up Maroon when he gets back (if Heatley doesn't take over 1st line)
Conacher (waiting to see if he can figure it out on the Tavares line)

Right now I'm leaning towards Vermette and Tlusty since they are getting solid opportunities 1line/1PP. Leaning even more towards Vermette to provide more multi-cat.

Any thoughts? Categories are in sig.

Also, does anyone think we will see Richards on the 2nd line before the end of the season?

I wouldn't drop him for any of those guys quite yet. I think it's still too early.

If your alternatives were better my suggestion might be different but none of those guys are particularly appealing.

Saad just got moved to the third line last night and they combined for 2 goals.

Go back 10 years and you will find Richards to be a slow starter just about every year. I'm with Blayze - give it a few more games. He's adjusting to a new city, new team and new baby in the house - I think he will surprise some folks this year.

Why is this under the injury section?

    Agree with the above.

However I do love Vermette in FOW leagues. He's a safe bet for 50 ish points and 1000+ FOW, also getting PP time. I'd be tempted to drop one of your D for him.

Yeah this makes a lot of sense when you only start 4 D guys and you have Hedman on IR for down the road. Dropping Muzzin for Vermette would work for me.

Whoops...not exactly sure how to move it to the 1 yr player talk.

    I think I'll be dropping a D for a F. Thanks for the feedback!

i would drop him for Tlusty or hold on and be ready to jump on Maroon when he gets backs or do both.
