    Default D.Brown or B.Schenn

Who do you prefer for this league? I already own Giroux, Simmonds and L.Schenn, so I'm not sure adding another Flyer is such a good idea. It just doesn't look like Brown will ever rebound. He'll turn to next gear for the playoffs, but I don't see him being 50 pts player again.

    C: E.Staal, RNH, Ribeiro, Hanzal
LW: Couture (C), Landeskog, Skinner (RW), Ladd, Brown (RW)
RW: Giroux (C), Kessel, MacKinnon (C), Simmonds
    D: Phaneuf, Bieksa, Seidenberg, M.Stuart, Leddy, L.Schenn
    G: Holtby, Pavelec, Stalock

Not crazy on either of these two. Brown turns it up...in the playoffs. Schenn is fine and probably my choice of the two but I would maybe take a look at Zuccarello or Moulson for some better production.

Looks like Schenn at the moment. But with Brown playing on Kopitar's wing, I would be hesitant to make that move just yet - maybe a couple more games - Kopitar will get untracked sooner or later and take Brown with him.

According to leftwinglock's line combos/profiles, Brown's not getting much time on the PP (last three games was pretty much 0) and his main linemates are King and Stoll. Whereas Schenn is getting a variety of time with Giroux, Voracek and Simmonds on ES and PP. Last two games he skated 20 min+ with 4+ on the power play.

Obviously it's still early and Brown still has that name value, but not sure much real offensive value Brown has left.

Also being a H2H league and you having plenty of grit already, I wonder how much real weekly value Brown gives you. Hits is just one category out of 12 skater cats. Obviously it's early to tell but I would keep that in mind.

That's the thing. He's been playing Kopitar on the top line but hasn't been getting PP time. Brown is still gonna bring the hits, but I think he's done offensively. I'm taking Schenn here.

I prefer Schenn. The kid still has upside.

Schenn. Even in a hits league Brown is mediocre at best. His good days are behind him and even Kopitar can't help him. He didn't last year.

If that hasn't convinced check out this. Small sample size I know but it sure look like Schenn is trending up.
