Difference between 12-team and 14-team H2H league

How much difference is there between a 12-team and 14-team league?

We are looking at expanding our league this year. Some managers are worried about dilution.

Current roster sizes are C,C,LW,LW,RW,RW,UTIL,D,D,D,D,G,G,BN,BN,BN,BN,BN,IR ,IR

That's 16 active players on the roster and 2 goalies.

Is there much difference between 192 or 224 players? Any other changes you'd recommend if we decide to expand the league?

You won't notice much difference - still a relatively shallow league for skaters. There will be some pressure on drafting good goalies in the expanded league but carrying a good backup on your bench isn't a big deal.

I don't think you need to make anymore changes if you decide to expand.
