I should really put some effort in. I've been so busy that I haven't even bothered to look at the waiver wire of FA once. Argh. Need to be more active to squeak into that top 3! I'm coming!
Looking to make some moves (Canuckleheads) PM me here on DH if you want to trade

No change at the top of the Standings.
The Nickel City continues his huge lead that he's held all year, backed by a 16(GAA)-16(GAA)-15(SV) in goalie cats... thanks to his 1st & 4th round picks (Quick - 14th overall) & (Rinne - 51st overall). He complimented these guys by defense in the 2nd (Karlsson), 3rd (Buff), and 6th (Burns) rounds... having only drafted Wayne Simmonds in the 5th. What a run.
Competitive in the 2nd-5th spots are the Dead Things (riding Price/Howard and the Sedin-sisters), SoE (riding the lawfirm of Miller/Hiller with Stamkos and a couple injury boys in E.Kane/Sharp), Password is Taco (riding Bishop/Schneider & the super D trio of Gio/Doughty/Letang), and Laendarian (Halak/Lu + Geno/Subbban/MacK).

The Nickel City continues to dominate the league, consistently hovering in that 110 point range. A lot of jockeying for position in the 2-4 range, as well as from 5-9. All teams in these ranges are making moves weekly to try and gain ground on the leader. Though until there is an injury or a slowdown in the play of Jon Quick or Pekka Rinne, TNC's team is looking pretty solid.
One team in particular that I've found particularly interesting to follow is Habs7079. Last season Habs finished very high in the standings, and this year at the draft he decided to go completely forward heavy. Left without a credible goaltender, or even offensive defenseman, Habs has had to rely on top flight forwards to get the job done. With a offensive line of 16-9-9-10-16-8, and a goaltending line of 3-3-4, you can see how it played out. If this GM can swing for better goaltending stats before the season ends, they could be a team to watch.

A very tight league thus far with the two front-runners having won/winning leagues this year.
TheNickelCity was Champion this year in the Dobber Tier II Fantasy Football League playoffs!
Laendarian is the outright leader in "The Classic" points-only league.
Still a lot of hockey and a great pack of 8 teams at the top!!
I am pretty shocked with how bad my team is doing. By no means do I think I have a 1st place team, but if you told me at the start of the season that my team would be in last place at this point, I would have told you that you are crazy. Hopefully my team can turn things around the rest of the way and make things look respectable for me.
Has been a great season so far. Really competitive with lots of active and savvy GMs; hard not to have fun with that sort of league
I'm still trying to make up for failing to set my auto-draft strategy (brilliant move, I know). Turns out, it's hard to do well in fantasy hockey when your first D or G pick is in the 12th round of the draft(!!!). Speaking of which, have to say that I'm a little more than jealous of the top 3 D and top 2 goalies sported by Nickel City (Karlsson, Burns, Byf; Quick/Rinne... come on, that's just not fair), Dead Things (Keith, Yandle, Suter; Price/Howard), and Password is Taco (Letang, Doughty, Giordano; Bishop/Schneider). No surprise that they make up 3 of the top 5 -- not to mention 2nd place Laendarian's trio of Subban, Green, and Pietrangelo to go along with Halak/Luongo.
Not going to be easy to break into that top tier given my motley crew of D-men, but am hoping that my duo of trade-acquired goalies (Miller/Anderson) and my mix of forwards can at least provide a late season scare.
Looking to make some moves! (Vancouver Beavers)
I'll happily move HITS and maybe GOALS
Looking to gain ASSISTS and SHOTS primarily, or any goalie upgrade.
Looking to move Defense for a scoring forward. Something like Giordano on my side
Bumping this again: multi-cat guys like Dubinsky, Wingels, etc. are all available on my team (Vancouver Beavers). Looking for a bit of offence in the swap.

As it has been all season... The Nickel City continues domination.
He looks like a lock for his slot in the Champions League next year.
Top two will be promoted to the Tier II Campbell Conference... and there is a HUGE fight at the top for that #2 spot with as many as SEVEN teams in a pack.
Good luck.
