Definitely. Carolina didn't like playing Skinner with Jordan Staal so Jeff got pushed to the third line. If Lindholm get's second line minutes, Jeff probably sees a bump in icetime as well.

Staal sustained a broken bone in the lower part of his right leg during Tuesday's exhibition at Buffalo, Stephen Whyno of the Canadian Press reports.

Spin:
A timetable has not been released regarding Staal's return to the ice, but it would seem likely that he'll miss significant time. He needed crutches to move around after Tuesday's preseason contest, and fantasy owners will want to monitor his status in the coming days for a clearer picture regarding how much time he'll miss.

Second team in sig I traded him and a non-keeper two weeks ago to get Dubinsky. Bummer for JStaal and the Canes though, not what they needed to get off to a good start.
